SteelBrick CPQ Consultant (Burlington, MA)

As a SteelBrick CPQ Consultant you will be required to help analyze the complex systems, process, data, reporting and training needs and of our clients and provide consulting services to document, customize and maintain Salesforce and SteelBrick to meet these needs. Working under the Director of CPQ Consulting’s supervision, the candidate needs to be able to work both independently and as a member of a project team.  Common tasks will include documentation of requirements and design, configuration of designed solution, data manipulation, report creation, preparation of test plans, preparation of training materials, and communication with clients.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting or participating in CRM, sales operations, and CPQ requirements discovery via interviews and workshops with clients
  • Analyzing existing systems, process, data and reporting and documenting findings
  • Maintaining detailed notes from requirements sessions to use in requirements documentation, solution design sessions and design documentation
  • Setting up and configuring Salesforce.com and SteelBrick for client use including customizations to meet our clients’ desired business processes, reports and dashboards
  • Preparing data, and conducting data imports
  • Preparing training materials or assisting with end-user training sessions
  • Driving technology, business and CRM adoption best practices with clients
  • Managing projects directly or working under the supervision of a Practice or Project Manager to deliver project tasks successfully and on schedule
  • Continuously learning new technologies, methodologies and best practices
  • Maintaining project notes, time entries, and client communication in accordance with the OpFocus team’s project delivery best practices

Learning Objectives:

  • Developing knowledge of CRM solutions and trends, pertaining to sales operations needs
  • Working toward Salesforce and SteelBrick Certifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business, Economics, or technical related field
  • Ability to lead analytical discussions, uncover underlying problems, and identify and articulate prioritized solutions
  • Sound written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of sales operations and CPQ best practices
  • Self-motivated, driven contributor that flourishes on a small team
  • Ability to manage multiple sets of project tasks simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
