As the Vice President of Professional Services, Jim leads our team that’s responsible for strategic consulting and engagement management for our largest and most complex Salesforce implementation, optimization, and development projects. Jim sets the strategic direction for our delivery organization, and inspires excellence for our development, CPQ, Salesforce Services, and Managed Services practices.
Jim has more than 18 years of experience building and leading technology teams, as well as project managing and architecting solutions on various SaaS platforms, including Salesforce. Jim became part of the OpFocus team in 2015.
Prior to joining OpFocus, Jim spent 7 years building and leading IT departments in high-growth environments. Most recently, Jim recently was the Director of Information Technology at Next Step Living, leading all aspects of the IT department.While there, Jim led all Enterprise Applications, Salesforce implementations, and IT Infrastructure and Operations. Jim also spent time as the Director of Information Technology for Mercury Solar Systems, where he got his first forray into Salesforce.
Throughout his career, Jim has gained vast experience in project management, business, technology and innovative problem solving. He is a results driven technologist with an insatiable passion for solving meaningful and complex business problems by designing innovative solutions while leveraging cloud-based technologies.
Jim is also a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he worked as an Aircraft Electrical Engineer, routinely being deployed across the globe.
Jim maintains the Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Sales Consultant, Service Consultant, Community Consultant, and Platform App Builder certifications. Jim earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Western Connecticut State University and a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University.
